Job Description

Key Responsibilities:- Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Develop, review, and negotiate supplier contracts for diverse categories such as consumables, construction, IT services, Capex, and indirect categories. Ensure alignment of contracts with Eurofins’ legal and business requirements. - Legal Compliance: Conduct thorough reviews of supplier contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and identify potential legal risks in the terms and conditions. - Supplier Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for supplier contract-related matters. Collaborate with the Sourcing team to support negotiations and resolve contractual issues swiftly and effectively. - Response Drafting: Prepare responses to inquiries from suppliers’ legal teams, addressing concerns, proposed revisions, and clarifications regarding contracts. - Collaboration and Support: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Business Units and Legal teams (if required), to ensure alignment on contract terms, conditions, and compliance requirements. - Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance contract management efficiency and streamline workflows.Qualifications:- Legal Expertise: In-depth knowledge of contract law, with experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal and business concepts clearly and concisely. - Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and influence outcomes that align with organizational objectives. - Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in contract drafting, reviewing, and ensuring compliance. - Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and implement proactive solutions. - Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment, fostering positive relationships and achieving collective goals. - Procurement Experience: A strong understanding of procurement processes, preferably in a global or multi-national organization.Education and Experience:- A Bachelor's degree in law or a related field; advanced degrees will be preferred. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management or a similar role.
