Job Title: Lead Engineer/ Sr. Lead Engineer (AR/HR)Function: IEC- SeatingReport to: Engineering ManagerPay Band: 3Location: Pune (Bhosai), IndiaPosition Focus:Product Engineer with strong experience in design and development of Seating Armrest and Headrest componentsKey Requirements:- Competent in Headrest and Armrest components (Structures, Foam, Plastic, trim, mechanisms). - Experience on complete product life cycle on AR/HR, Design and development, testing, validation and production launch of Armrest and Headrest in Seating System - knowledge of global regulatory requirement in AR/HR and seating. - Knowledge of technical specifications, design documents and engineering standards for Headrest and Armrest. - Knowledge of packaging and integration of headrest and armrest assemblies into complete seat structures, ensure compliance with ergonomics, safety, manufacturing and serviceability requirement. - Understand RFQ and SOR requirements of customer. - Day to day interaction with customers to understand technical requirements, process and procedures - Strong engineering analytical skills should be able to perform basic engineering hand calculations and lead technical discussions. - knowledge on GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, DFMEA, DFM and DFA. - familiar with problem solving tools like A3, A4, and 8D, 5W quality tools is an added advantage. - Proficient in Cad tool Catia V5 or NX.Good to have Skill: -- Strong cross functional communication skills - Able to manage and closely work with design teams at remote locations - Maintain good professional relations with customers and suppliers. - Can travel to customer sites, plants and supplier sites for technical discussions. - Awareness of Engineering change management processQualification:B.E. (Mechanical / Automobile)PG Diploma/ Diploma from IGTR (Indo-German Tool Room), CIPET (Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology) or NTTF (Nettur Technical Training Foundation) is preferred.
