With growing customer and supplier channels, we welcome new opportunities to work with clients.Role Description This is a full-time role for an Assistant Accountant at AM Trading UK Limited in London. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Also, support our logistics and supply chain operations. In this role, you’ll help ensure the efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers, maintain accurate records, coordinate shipments, and collaborate closely with warehouse and transport teams. Home office will be Delhi, however travel to London required.QualificationsCoordinate and track shipments (incoming and outgoing) Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to schedule and monitor deliveries Prepare shipping documents (e.g., invoices, customs forms, packing lists) Identify and report delays or issues in the supply chain and suggest improvements Liaise with warehouse staff to manage stock levels and order fulfillment Support the logistics team with day-to-day operational tasks Accounting principles and financial reporting knowledge Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team setting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Relevant accounting qualification or working towards one (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) Hons or BSc Mathematics or CA Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
