Role Overview The Fab Scheduling Engineer will be responsible for optimizing semiconductor manufacturing operations through advanced scheduling solutions, digital twin modeling, and factory dashboard applications. This role requires strong expertise in fab process scheduling and hands-on experience with Inficon, IBM, or equivalent platforms. A deep understanding of manufacturing KPI matrices is essential to drive efficiency, throughput, and cycle time improvements in a 300mm silicon fab environment. Responsibilities Develop and maintain fab scheduling solutions Enhance factory dashboard applications for real-time KPI monitoring. Collaborate with teams to improve throughput, cycle time, planning bottle neck mitigation strategy and WIP management. Analyze manufacturing KPIs (OEE, utilization, yield, cycle time) to drive improvements. Provide technical support for fab automation and scheduling systems Essential Attributes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills KPI-driven decision-making mindset Clear communicator and team collaborator Detail-oriented, efficiency-focused, adaptable Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Hands-on expertise with commercial scheduling solutions such as Inficon Scheduler, IBM tools, or equivalent platforms Solid understanding of manufacturing KPIs (throughput, cycle time, WIP, OEE). Familiarity with 300mm silicon fab operations and automation systems.
