Job OverviewThe Head of AI will lead the organization’s artificial intelligence strategy, development, and deployment across products and internal platforms. This role is responsible for building scalable AI solutions, driving innovation, and aligning AI initiatives with business objectives. The position requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and the ability to translate business needs into impactful AI-driven outcomes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong product-building capabilities, turning AI innovations into commercially viable features and solutions that drive user adoption and revenue growth.Key Responsibilities· Define and execute the organization’s AI vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy· Lead end-to-end AI/ML initiatives including problem definition, model development, deployment, and monitoring· Build, mentor, and manage high-performing AI, data science, and ML engineering teams· Collaborate with product, engineering, business, and leadership teams to identify AI use cases· Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, ethical, and compliant with regulatory standards· Drive adoption of AI across business functions to improve efficiency and decision-making · Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies, staying ahead of market trends such as agentic AI, multimodal models, Model Context Protocols and advanced reasoning capabilities· Leverage cloud-based AI services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure AI, Google Vertex AI) to accelerate development and deployment of production-grade solutions· Oversee data strategy, model governance, and performance metrics· Present AI insights, progress, and ROI to senior stakeholders and executives· Champion product-centric AI development, from ideation to launch, ensuring AI features enhance product value and competitive differentiationQualifications & Experience· Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field· 8–15 years of overall experience with at least 4–6 years in AI/ML leadership or architect roles· Proven experience delivering AI/ML solutions in production environments· Strong product-building track record, including experience in AI-driven product development, commercialization, and go-to-market strategies· Strong understanding of business strategy and AI commercialization· Experience working with large datasets, cloud platforms, and enterprise-scale systems· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills· Demonstrated ability to track and adapt to fast-evolving AI market trends and advanced conceptsTechnical Skills· Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, and Generative AI· Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn· Experience with MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines· Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and AI services· Strong understanding of data engineering, data pipelines, and big data technologies· Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks· Familiarity with advanced/emerging AI concepts such as multimodal AI, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), autonomous systems and Model Context Protocols.· Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, explainability, and governance frameworks.
