The Knowledge Services function under MMGS aims to provide specialized services in the domain of Research, Consulting, Data Analytics, Data Science, Actuarial and Design.Proposal Management is a key service offering provided by Knowledge Services to global Marsh McLennan businesses and the Asia IMPACT Practice is currently seeking a Proposal Specialist/s to support the MMB business and ensure our proposals are competitive, compelling and aligned with the client/prospect’s objectives.We will count on you to:- Play a critical role in the pursuit of major sales opportunities (Offensive and Defensive) by creating unique, compelling value propositions for clients. - Review Request for Proposals for complete understanding of proposal submission requirements. - Work with technical specialists, consultants, sales professionals, and wider stakeholders to formulate the pitch strategy, develop persuasive proposal / presentation content and executive summaries, geared towards client needs, following company best practice approach. - Manage and coordinate low and large complexity tenders, drive the bid strategy, and manage communication with relevant stakeholders. - Review drafts from team contributors for clarity, conciseness, logic, flow, tone, completeness, accuracy, precision, consistency and credibility. - Identify major strategic opportunities within proposals to help the team extract and create more value for clients. - Determine research needs for the tender response - delegate or perform as appropriate. - Identify internal points of contact to request practice and project-specific information when information cannot be found in the knowledge management system / portal. - Work actively with the design team to create optimal design approach / concept, including storyboarding for opportunity, and facilitate design review process.What you need to have:- A graduate degree in any discipline. - 6 to 12 years of overall experience, with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in the Health & Benefits sector. - Strong project management and operational skills – able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Demonstrated experience working across multiple countries. - Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations. - Proficient in MS Office.What makes you stand out?- Ability to handle large / complex tenders. - Confidence is key – you will need to work with MMB Leaders across 11 markets in Asia and be able to hold your own. - Ability to build a story and articulate key elements of a value proposition after listening to / reading content from Technical Specialists. - Able to draft an Executive Summary from scratch post receipt of proposal content. - Client facing prior experience desirable. - Able to handle multiple stakeholders – regionally and globally, if needed. - Able to challenge, provide alternative recommendations / ideas to the response team. - Presentation skills – highly desirable. - Under pressure (multiple projects) – able to juggle priorities and deadlines efficientlyWhy join our team:- We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders - We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities - Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC) is a global leader in risk, strategy and people, advising clients in 130 countries across four businesses: Marsh, Guy Carpenter, Mercer and Oliver Wyman .
