Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise integration strategy.Design and build full-stack integration services:- Develop and maintain Java-based microservices, APIs, and middleware that orchestrate data flows between ServiceNow and partner platforms. Implement resilient service patterns including retries, circuit breakers, idempotency, and transactional integrity.Architect event-driven integration solutions:- Leverage Kafka for event streaming, decoupled processing, and near-real-time synchronization of tickets, incidents, work orders, and status updates across systems. Define event schemas, topics, producers/consumers, and replay strategies.Implement performance optimization and state management:- Utilize Redis and caching strategies to support high-throughput integrations, session state management, rate limiting, and performance optimization while maintaining data consistency.Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and vendors:- Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, and secure connectivity patterns. Support eBonding with external vendors, carriers, and partners while ensuring SLA adherence and data integrity.Ensure reliability, observability, and fault tolerance:- Partner with SRE and operations teams to implement logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and health checks. Design integrations to gracefully handle partial failures, backpressure, and downstream outages.Govern security, compliance, and data protection:- Ensure integrations meet enterprise security standards, authentication/authorization requirements, encryption policies, and data governance controls. Design secure API access models and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.Influence enterprise integration strategy and roadmap:- Collaborate with platform engineering, ITSM/CSM/FSM teams, network operations, and business stakeholders to define long-term integration strategy, modernization plans, and decommissioning of legacy integration bridges.Mentor engineers and elevate integration maturity:- Provide technical leadership, design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring to integration and platform teams.
