Strategic Planning/Execution:- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with overall business objectives. - Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities. - Set objectives, tactical & long term for key performance indicators (KPIs) for the category. - Monitor category performance against targets and make adjustments as needed.2. Product Management:- Determine the optimal product assortment within the category, including variations and pricing. - Manage product lifecycles, from introduction to obsolescence. - Ensure product availability and minimize stockouts and overstocks.3. Sales & Marketing:- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute category-specific strategies. - Analyze sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement & opportunity. - Develop pricing strategies and promotional plans to drive sales and increase brand visibility.4. Financial Management:- Manage the category budget and ensure profitability. - Track expenses and revenue related to the category. - Analyze financial performance and make recommendations for improvement.5. Team Collaboration:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. - Provide guidance and support to other team members.6.
