Job Title: Finance AssociateDepartment: Finance & AccountingReports To: Finance ManagerLocation: BangaloreEmployment Type: Full-timePosition Overview:The Finance Associate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, driving strategic financial planning and analysis , project cost management, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting business growth through data-driven insights. digital solutions and project-based revenue models common in the IT sector .This role requires strong leadership, analytical ability and business acumen to manage budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes effectively.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage finance , accounting activities and payroll, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. - Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for IT business units, including software development, cloud services, and technology projects. - Manage cash flow, working capital, and OPEX related to R&D, cloud infrastructure, and technology tools. - Develop, implement, and monitor financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. - Conduct financial analysis and planning to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business improvement - Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements.( preparation of provisional and Projected )and Monthly MIS - Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making - Ensure compliance with statutory laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.( Direct taxation, Indirect taxation) - Experience in handling SEZ compliance and filing , Import & Export filing under Customs - Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment activities to optimize financial performance. - Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.(Technical, Non Technical(Management, CS, Operational, HR ) - Lead annual audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities. - Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.Qualifications & Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field (CA/CPA preferred). - Fresher (CA) or with 3 years in finance or accounting role who can work in the start up or service Sector (IT and Manufacture) - Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IndAS/GAAP), taxation and compliance. - Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting processes. - Knowledge in financial software (e.g.,Zoho Books, ERP Software) and advanced Excel skills. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management and problem solving Skills abilities.Key Competencies:- Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis - IT Project Costing & Profitability - Risk Management & Compliance - Forecasting & Budget Control - Cash Flow & Cost Control - Cross-functional Collaboration (IT, Product, Engineering) - Data-Driven Decision Making - Process Improvement & AutomationPerformance Indicators (KPIs):- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports(ARR, MRR) - Budget variance control - R&D spending efficiency - Project profitability and utilization rates - Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) - Gross margin for software and services - Cash flow management efficiency - Audit and compliance ratings - Team productivity and development
