Faculty – Fashion DesignLocation: Jaipur (On-Site)Organization: ARCH College of Design & BusinessEmployment Type: Full-timeExperience: 5–7 YearsReports To: Head – Fashion Design / Academic CoordinatorPosition OverviewARCH College of Design & Business is inviting applications for Faculty – Fashion Design to join its Academic Fashion Design department. The role focuses on teaching, mentoring, and guiding students across creative, technical, and conceptual aspects of fashion design, while integrating contemporary industry practices and research-based learning.Key Responsibilities- Deliver lectures, studio classes, and practical sessions in fashion design, garment construction, textiles, and fashion illustration - Develop and update course content, teaching materials, and project briefs in line with academic standards - Guide students through design projects, research work, and final-year collections - Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations, with regular feedback - Encourage innovation, creativity, and critical thinking in student work - Organize and coordinate academic exhibitions, fashion shows, and design events - Collaborate with faculty members for interdisciplinary teaching and projects - Maintain active engagement with the fashion industry to bring contemporary practices into the classroom - Contribute to curriculum development and academic research activities - Participate in faculty meetings, academic reviews, and institutional initiativesQualifications & Experience- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design / Apparel Design / Textile Design from a recognized institute - 5–7 years of teaching and/or professional industry experience in fashion design or related fields - Strong expertise in pattern making, draping, garment construction, textiles, and digital design tools (CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D, etc.) - Portfolio demonstrating strong design and creative capabilities - Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills - Strong passion for teaching and creative educationPreferred Attributes- Experience in sustainable fashion, fashion forecasting, or styling - Exposure to academic research or publications in design - Ability to integrate new technologies and innovative teaching methodologies - Active participation in fashion events, exhibitions, or industry collaboratioRemunerationAs per institutional norms and candidate’s experienceHow to ApplyInterested candidates can apply through our Work at ARCH page:
