We are looking for a Sr. Accountant with 9+ years of experience to join COE finance team. This position will help maximize gross revenue through effective cash applications that are accurate and timely and all collection related activities.Responsibilities- Support three-day month-end close activities, including the preparation subledger schedules, adjusting journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, prepare account reconciliations, foreign currency revaluation, and import files to internal consolidation system. - Monitoring and control of intercompany transactions between group companies. - Support the activities of the accounting team including AP, AR, GL, and FP&A - Proactively review, analyses, and interpret discrepancies across multiple systems, entities, and currencies and summarize formatted findings with recommendations to management. - Maintain fixed assets module, IFRS 16 lease schedules and bank reconciliations. - Clarification and reconciliation of Tax accounts, Tax reconciliations, research and document US and foreign compliance issues, GST, audit, registration renewals, and prepare ongoing filings, including monthly sales tax returns. - Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings (HGB, IFRS), - Continuous optimization of internal processes in the accounting area regarding efficiency and compliance. This position is for you if you have: - Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, preferably in an international environment or Software industry.Qualifications- University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Profound knowledge of international accounting and bookkeeping standards, such as IFRS. - Charted Accounting certification is desirable. - Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 accounting (Contract revenue), contract management and US and foreign Tax compliance - Qualified CA preferred
