Role purpose- Support day‑to‑day statutory and labour compliance activities for factory workers, ensuring accurate documentation, timely filings and readiness for inspections. - Act as execution arm for the Compliance Lead and ER Head, maintaining records, coordinating with contractors and ensuring adherence to SOPs on the shop floor.Key responsibilities- Maintain all statutory registers and records related to attendance, working hours, overtime, leave, wages, bonus, canteen, safety and welfare as per applicable laws and company SOPs. - Prepare and update monthly / quarterly statutory returns and help in timely submissions (PF, ESI, labour welfare, factory returns, etc.) in coordination with central HR/compliance teams. - Collect, verify and file contractor compliance documents (licences, registers, wage sheets, challans, insurance, etc.) and highlight gaps to the Statutory Lead before bill processing. - Assist in internal audits and external inspections by arranging documents, retrieving records, and preparing basic data / checklists as required. - Update trackers for licence / registration renewals, periodic inspections, and statutory payments due dates; escalate deviations proactively. - Coordinate with payroll team on inputs related to attendance, overtime and statutory deductions for workers to ensure accuracy and timelines. - Support implementation of compliance‑related SOPs on the shop floor by guiding supervisors and contractors on documentation and formats. - Maintain digital and physical filing systems for all compliance records to ensure traceability and easy retrieval during audits.Qualifications and experience- Post Graduate in HR ; additional certificate in labour laws / HR preferred. - 2–5 years of experience in factory HR / time office / payroll / statutory compliance, preferably in a manufacturing set‑up with large blue‑collar workforce. - Basic working knowledge of key labour laws (Factories, CLRA, PF, ESI, Wages, Bonus, Gratuity) and statutory documentation formats.Skills and competencies- Strong record‑keeping, data accuracy and follow‑up skills; comfort with Excel and HR/payroll systems. - Ability to work on the shop floor, coordinate with supervisors, contractors and workers, and manage high‑volume documentation. - High integrity, confidentiality and discipline in handling statutory records and deadlines.
