Role SummaryManage the design for the Furnishings category in Homecentre and set the creative direction in conceptualization of design plans, create innovative & in trend designs and strategize and implement the same in alignment with the company's visionSummary of Role Responsibilities- Understand the trends prevailing in the international/domestic market and adapt to market demographic and brand image - Evaluate & analyze the global offerings, find gaps & create designs & plan for Household’s portfolio of products - Create & execute original designs, to create products right from concept through production with a clear focus on trends, colors, materials and techniques - Strategize & plan the seasonal collections and monthly drops in terms of products (both new trends & existing best sellers), range composition & design the grid according to the products cost and the intended MRPs - Analyse sales data (Sell through) to identify opportunities and plan future assortment - Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines - Collaborating with other teams & stakeholders to ensure design aligns with overall company goals and achieves desired results in terms of messaging, sales and growth - Take responsibility for the creative vision and the standard of output across team members.Key requirements- Minimum experience of 4 years in Retail organization or production units/ Export houses - Mandatory experience in Home Furnishing – Bedding, Cushions, Curtains - Textile Design from NIFT/NID - Experience in print design, surface manipulation and trend study
