Job Description

You will work closely with senior product managers, engineering, design, data,operations, and external partners to deliver a seamless, secure, and high-convertingpayment experience. You will primarily contribute to execution, analysis, andincremental improvements of payment and UPI flows, while gradually taking moreownership as you grow.Key Responsibilities• Assist in maintaining the product roadmap and backlog for payments and UPI inline with the direction set by senior product leaders.• Support the definition and optimisation of UPI and payment flows acrossonboarding, authorization, success/failure, refunds, settlements, and disputesunder guidance.• Draft clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria with reviews from seniorPMs, and coordinate with Engineering and Design to ensure timely, high-qualitydelivery.• Use dashboards and tools such as Excel or BI tools to monitor funnelperformance, success rates, and drop-offs, and support simple A/B tests orexperiments to improve conversion.• Help manage integrations and daily interactions with external partners like PSPs,banks, gateways, and aggregators, especially around SLAs and productionissues.• Participate in monitoring system health and reliability, helping coordinate withengineering and operations to quickly diagnose and resolve incidents.• Prepare concise product reports, dashboards, and updates for leadership andcross-functional stakeholders.• Stay updated on key trends in the payments and UPI ecosystem and sharerelevant insights with the team as input into product thinking.Required Qualifications• 1–4 years of experience in product management, business analysis, oroperations role in a fintech environment.• Some exposure to payments or fintech (for example UPI, cards, net banking,wallets, etc. ).• Comfort working with data using Excel ; familiarity with SQL or BI tools is anadvantage but not mandatory.• Experience contributing to the launch or improvement of any user-facingproduct or internal tool.• Ability to write clear documents, break down problems into smaller parts, andprioritize tasks with support from senior PMs.Good to Have• Experience collaborating with payment gateways, aggregators, banks, or PSPs inany capacity.• Basic understanding of concepts like refunds, settlements, disputes, and fraudor risk controls.• Exposure to other payment methods such as cards, net banking, wallets, BNPL,or recurring payments.
