Job Title:Project Officer (Monitoring) Location:New Delhi Salary Range:₹15–18 LPAMinimum Qualification: Full-time regular Master’s degree in a relevant discipline / MBA / M.Tech or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution.Minimum Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in project management, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E) functions, includingat least 3 years of experience working with Central Government, State Government, or related Government Departments / Agencies .Key Responsibilities & Skills Required: Provide overall leadership and coordination for monitoring activities, ensuring projects are implemented as per defined objectives, timelines, and quality standards. Lead, guide, and supervise project teams, assign responsibilities, track performance, and ensure effective coordination among internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders. Manage project budgets and financial planning, ensuring optimal resource allocation, cost control, and compliance with approved financial norms and guidelines. Develop, implement, and maintain monitoring frameworks, MIS, and digital dashboards to track project progress, outcomes, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Conduct regular project reviews, field assessments, and performance evaluations to identify gaps, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Apply strategic thinking and risk management approaches to anticipate potential challenges, assess risks, and design timely mitigation and corrective action plans. Prepare comprehensive progress reports, analytical notes, presentations, and documentation for senior management, government authorities, and other stakeholders. Coordinate with Central/State Government departments, implementing agencies, and partner organizations to ensure alignment with policy guidelines and program objectives. Ensure adherence to reporting standards, compliance requirements, and best practices in monitoring and evaluation. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings, facilitate discussions, and support informed decision-making at multiple levels.
