Partner with Acumen to navigate the complexities of international education and achieve sustainable growth in the global arena.What you will do as a Partnerships AdviserPurpose of the role We are looking for Partnerships Adviser to support Client (an Australian student accommodation provider, offering premium, fully-furnished apartments with all-inclusive rent covering utilities, internet, and 24/7 support) to fulfil its objectives across South Asia. We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and flexible candidate based in New Delhi India, with recent experience in international education, student accommodation, business development or a similar environment.Main ResponsibilitiesAgent Management •Identify, target and build relationships with referral agents and aggregators aligned to the Australian higher education market. The focus will be driving sales targeting key locations within India and Sri Lanka (the Region) •Expand the agents’ network and their understanding of the Client product •Manage and support Client’s referral agents including conducting follow up and providing after sales service to ensure conversion of leads into sales •Deliver regular counsellor training to build product awareness •Provide assistance to agents, prospective residents and their parents with enquiries about completing the online booking process or other enquiries about Client properties, the Client brand and living in Australia as an international studentStakeholder Engagement •Evaluate industry trends and drive strategies for new business opportunities •Build relationships and awareness of Client with high performing schools and universities with direct linkages to Australian education providers •Organise and represent Client at identified education and networking events •Seek to establish relationships with government agencies and affiliated groups to maximise local engagement opportunities •Work closely with the Client Sales & Partnerships team on weekly goals and overall sales and engagement strategiesMarketing and Brand Awareness •Seek to increase brand awareness and visibility of Client as a premium student accommodation provider in Australia. •Attend exhibitions and events to represent and consult prospective students and parents on student accommodation options available •Assist in enhancing Client’s marketing and branding, including support on the Client website, social media, and other marketing channels •Coordinate and assist in developing marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, promotional gifts, advertisements etc. •Participate in regular sales and partnerships training to remain updated on Client products and services •Build a travel and events calendar for promoting Client, aligned with the agreed operational budgetWhat you bring to the team •A degree and/or relevant combination of skills and experience •3–8 years of relevant experience in the Education/student accommodation/hospitality domain •Basic knowledge of CRM software and MS Office •Understanding of market and marketing strategies •Strong knowledge of processes underpinning international student mobility •Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate and present to diverse audiences •Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an international team •High responsibility and accountability for completing tasks within deadlines •Ability to use personal and team expertise to achieve business goals •A valid passport with the ability to travel across South Asia and Australia •Flexibility to work outside regular office hours, including some weekends •Ability and willingness to travel alone and for extended periodsWhat we offer you •Mandatory government contributions •Medical insurance •An international, positive, friendly working environment •Convenient office location in Delhi •Learning and development opportunities •Opportunity to make a real impact in South Asia’s education sector •Opportunity to join familiarisation trips
