Educase.io is building a modern, scalable school ERP and white-label app platform that helps schools digitize academics, operations, communication, and finance. Our platform powers multiple branded school apps from a single SaaS core, handling sensitive data, real-time workflows, and large daily usage.We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who can take end-to-end ownership of our product engineering — architecture, performance, security, and execution.Role OverviewAs a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Educase, you will:- Own the technical architecture and code quality of the Educase platform - Mentor backend, frontend, and mobile developers - Work closely with the founder, product, and operations teams - Build scalable systems used daily by schools, staff, parents, and students - Drive engineering best practices and long-term technical vision - This is a hands-on role with significant ownership.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Development- Design and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js - Lead frontend architecture using React (Web) and React Native (Mobile) - Define and implement system architecture for: - Multi-tenant SaaS & white-label apps - Role-based access systems - Secure data handling (students, staff, payments, attendance, etc.) - Ensure high performance, security, and uptime of the platform - Review code, enforce standards, and own technical decisionsTeam Guidance- Contribute to sprint planning, task breakdowns, and technical estimations - Mentor junior and mid-level developers - Conduct code reviews and architecture reviews - Build strong documentation and onboarding processesProduct & Business Collaboration- Translate product requirements into technical roadmaps - Work closely with founders and product managers - Evaluate and integrate third-party tools, APIs, and services - Balance speed of execution with long-term stabilityDevOps & Quality- Guide CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring practices - Ensure testing discipline (unit, integration, regression) - Drive security, backup, and disaster-recovery practicesMust-Have Skills- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development - Strong expertise in Node.js (Express/NestJS) - Strong hands-on experience with React.js - Production experience with React Native apps - Strong knowledge of REST APIs, system design, and scalable architectures - Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases - Git, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows - Ability to design systems from scratch and refactor existing systems⭐ Good-to-Have- Experience building SaaS or multi-tenant platforms - Experience with white-label apps or B2B products - Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP / DigitalOcean) - Knowledge of app security, data encryption, and compliance - Prior experience in EdTech, ERP, or workflow products - Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and microservicesWhat Success Looks Like- Stable, scalable core platform - Faster feature shipping with fewer bugs - Strong ownership culture inside the dev team - Well-documented systems and APIs - High-performance web and mobile apps used daily by schoolsWhy Join Educase- Shape the full technical direction of a fast-growing product - Direct access to founders and real decision-making power - Opportunity to build a large-scale education platform - Long-term growth potential - Competitive salary + performance growth path
