Job SummaryThe Assistant Manager (AM) – Retail will manage one of CAVA’s Exclusive Brand Outlet (EBO). The role focuses on driving sales, ensuring brand standards, managing store operations, and coordinating with two Retail Executives to deliver a consistent and high-quality customer experience aligned with CAVA’s fashion apparel positioning.Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Performance- Assist in achieving monthly and annual sales targets. - Monitor daily sales performance and take corrective actions when required. - Promote upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue. - Ensure adherence to CAVA’s pricing, discount, and promotion policies.2. Store Operations- Support smooth day-to-day store operations including opening and closing procedures. - Ensure compliance with company SOPs, audit standards, and safety guidelines. - Manage cash handling, billing accuracy, and daily sales reconciliation. - Coordinate with warehouse/logistics for stock replenishment and transfers.3. Team Management & Training- Lead and manage the store team consisting of 2 Retail Executives. - Plan duty rosters, weekly offs, and leave management. - Assign daily sales targets and responsibilities to executives. - Train team members on product knowledge, customer engagement, and selling techniques. - Monitor performance and provide regular feedback. - Ensure discipline, attendance, and adherence to company policies.4. Customer Experience- Ensure exceptional customer service aligned with CAVA brand standards. - Handle customer complaints, returns, and exchanges professionally. - Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business. - Maintain high store hygiene and ambiance standards.5. Visual Merchandising & Brand Presentation- Ensure visual merchandising guidelines are followed as per brand standards. - Monitor product displays, mannequins, and window setups. - Coordinate with VM teams for new launches and seasonal collections.6. Inventory Management- Assist in stock planning, stock audits, and shrinkage control. - Ensure accurate inventory records and proper stock rotation. - Minimize loss, damage, and pilferage within the store.7. Reporting & Coordination- Prepare and share daily/weekly sales and operational reports. - Coordinate with HO teams (HR, Accounts, VM, Operations) as required. - Support the Store Manager in implementing company initiatives and policies.Key Skills & Competencies- Strong sales and customer service orientation - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and head office teams - Good leadership and team-handling skills - Knowledge of retail operations and fashion apparel trends - Effective interpersonal skills - Problem-solving and decision-making ability - Basic computer knowledge (POS systems, MS Excel, email)Qualifications & Experience- Graduate in any discipline (preferred) - 2–4 years of experience in retail fashion/apparel - Prior experience as Senior Sales Executive or Floor Manager is an advantage - Languages: English and Kannada are mandatory; Hindi is preferredWorking Conditions- Rotational shifts including weekends and holidays - Standing for extended periods - Fast-paced retail environment
