Designation : Sr. Ops staff Hiring Reporting : Regional PDA manager Function : Operations Key Responsibilities: Recruitment and sourcing Manage end-to-end hiring for outsourced, blue-collar roles such delivery staff, inhouse warehousing staff , loader etc Collaborate with third-party staffing agencies, contractors, and vendors for manpower supply Conduct spot hiring drives, walk-in interviews, and job camps in key sourcing locations Ensure the manpower is sufficient as per the requirement of the location. Vendor development Candidate Screening & Selection Conduct basic screening (ID verification, work readiness, skill/physical fitness if applicable). Coordinate interviews and selection with operations and warehouse supervisors. Maintain a real-time database of available and onboarded workers. Onboarding & Documentation Ensure proper documentation: Aadhar, PAN, police verification (if needed), bank details, etc. Distribute and collect employment contracts, ID cards, and uniforms (if applicable). Ensure orientation on company policies, safety guidelines. Vendor & Manpower Management Liaise with contract staffing vendors and ensure fulfilment against manpower requirements. Track daily attendance and deployment across locations Monitor contractor performance and escalate issues related to absenteeism, attrition, or manpower shortages. Compliance & Record-Keeping Ensure compliance with labour laws and contractor documentation (PF, ESI, wage slips) for vendor. Maintain hiring MIS, daily reports, and dashboards. Support audit and compliance checks related to workforce documentation. Eligibility Not in active PIP or under disciplinary action. Minimum educational qualification graduation in any stream.
