Senior Fashion House MerchandiserExperienced merchandiser with a minimum of 5 – 7 years experience in a fashion design house (not export or buying house), preferably one that offers both Indian/ethnic and contemporary western clothing.DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NOT WORKED FOR A DESIGN HOUSE DEALING WITH FASHION GARMENTS with retail prices above Rs. 50,000.The candidate must have strong leadership abilities and be an effective communicator.We are looking for somebody self-motivated. Strong managerial skillsResponsibilities include:Must have experience with EBOs and India's leading MBOs (Pernia, Ensemble, Ogaan, etc.)- Managing a team of EBO and MBO merchandisers. - Generating purchase orders - Travelling within India for trunk shows / promotions.Working closely with design team to provide guidance on seasonal collections.- Responsibility for costing of collections.Coordinating with production department to insure that PO's are produced on time.Strong Excel Skills are required.Email: team@
