Job Description Posting Title: Medical Officer Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹22K to 35K Work Experience: 1+ year Location: Butwal (mandatory for camp activity participation) Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient care with a focus on reproductive health and IVF-related treatments. Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Educate patients and their families on the IVF process, treatment plans, medication schedules, and lifestyle recommendations to optimize outcomes. Coordinate seamlessly with senior doctors, nurses, lab technicians, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and treatment continuity. Participate in and support medical camps and outreach programs, particularly in Butwal, including patient screening, health counseling, and follow-up coordination. Monitor patient progress during treatment cycles and report any concerns or complications promptly to supervising physicians. Assist in the preparation and execution of clinical protocols and patient management plans. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and adherence to hospital policies and clinical guidelines. Requirements MBBS degree with valid registration from the Nepal Medical Council (NMC). Minimum 1 year of post-graduation clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in reproductive medicine or general medicine with exposure to IVF/ART. Strong skills in patient care and coordination, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple patients with empathy and professionalism. Proficiency in maintaining electronic and physical medical records with attention to detail and compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information in accessible terms to patients. Experience in patient education and counseling, particularly regarding fertility treatments and lifestyle management. Willingness and ability to travel and participate in mandatory medical camp activities in Butwal. Familiarity with IVF treatment protocols and reproductive health best practices is highly preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced clinical environment.
