The position responsibilities will include, but not limited to: • Design and implement network solutions using Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco Meraki equipment to support ARCHER's growing infrastructure needs • Manage and optimize our Palo Alto firewall deployments, including security policies, VPNs, and threat prevention features • Configure and maintain Cisco Meraki networking devices, including switches and access points • Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network solutions align with business requirements and cybersecurity best practices • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, policies, and procedures • Implement and manage network automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior network team members • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in network security and infrastructure • Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director ITMust Have Skills/Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • 4+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco Meraki technologies • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification • Cisco Meraki certification (e.g., CMNA, CMNO) • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols • Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersPreferred Skills/Experience: • Experience in the legal services or healthcare industry • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure) • Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies • Experience with NIST Cybersecurity Framework 1.1 and NYDFS 500.03
