Exp range : 4+ yearsRoles and Responsibility/Job DescriptionThe UAT Tester will be a part of the Testing Center of Excellence based at Asset & Wealth Management Operations, India. As the Tester will be a part of a critical global team, it is important that the Tester has the aptitude and capability to systematically test application functionality, as part of the development /test cycle, and in preparation for the go-live phase of each development and also record the results correctly while maintaining good communication with stakeholders.Ideally, the candidate should have prior experience of a Test environment, or a technical support environment.Duties and Responsibilities- Perform Regression & Functional User Acceptance Testing of systems used for AWM business processes - Assist in the parallel running of the current system to ensure the new system results are validated against the existing system - Documentation of UAT Test Scenarios - Test Cases / Test Scripts - Definition and preparation of Test Data - Identification and analysis of defects and work with Ops teams to ensure the quality of delivered software as well as ensuring timely bug resolution. - In parallel with testing responsibilities, the candidate will be required to assist in the delivery of monthly/quarterly reporting on the testing results. - Update any documentation that has gone out-of-date.Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:- Previous relevant experience in a test or technical support environment. - Test Preparation and Execution experience (preferably within business applications and processes) - Strong problem solving and good analytical skills (defect analysis and reporting) - Strong attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Track record of successful project completion working in a team - Ability to multi-task and test different applications relating to a release - Good time management skills and the ability to work on tight deadlinesThe Automation Tester will be a part of the Testing Center of Excellence based at Asset & Wealth Management Operations, India. Maintaining good communication with stakeholders will be a key factor.Additional Specific Skill Set/Expertise to look for:- Practical experience in Test Automation using JAVA, Selenium, BDD Cucumber API testing and Database Knowledge. - Knowledge on one or more automation toolsResponsibilities- Automate Regression and Functional test cases - Collaborate closely with technology in BDD implementation - Capability to automate Test Design through testing tools - Automation feasibility study - Derive ROISkill Set:- Previous relevant experience in test automation - Strong problem solving and good analytical skills - Excellent communication skills - Ability to multi-task and test different applications relating to a releaseTechnical- Must have expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, Java - Must have expertise in BDD / TDD – Behaviour Driven Development/ Test Driven Development - Sound knowledge on Version Control (Bitbucket, GIT) - Good to have knowledge of Test Design tools like Conformiq - Automation framework development using core Java - Hands on experience in maintaining Keyword, Data and Hybrid frameworks - Test data management using SQLs - Good reporting skills - Knowledge on Agile practicesSame Posting Description for Internal and External Candidates
