We are backed by a founding team that have over 20 years of experience in the field and a network of people with deep knowledge and expertise into all aspects of construction.Role & Responsibilities1. Design & Client Coordination- Develop architectural concepts from initial brief through final design presentation - Quickly understand client needs and translate them into elegant, functional solutions - Prepare concept drawings, presentation material and design proposals within committed timelines - Manage complete concept approval documentation - Prepare sales drawings, area statements, presentation layouts and marketing material including brochure inputs - Coordinate SketchUp models, renderings and walkthroughs with visualization teams2. Statutory & Authority Documentation- Prepare and manage drawings for government approvals and sanctions - Strong understanding of local bye-laws, zoning regulations, setbacks, buffers and statutory norms - Ensure drawings match land records, boundaries and survey documentation - Incorporate Vastu principles as a primary design requirement - Identify design challenges early and propose effective planning solutions3. Detailed Design & Execution- Coordinate with structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and all other consultants - Integrate services into architectural drawings seamlessly - Prepare complete GFC (Good For Construction) drawings with proper layering and detailing - Issue tender drawings and support tender finalization - Finalize materials and specifications aligned with design intent and project budgets4. Construction & Site Management- Work closely with Quantity Survey, Quality and Procurement teams - Coordinate with site engineers and issue detailed drawings well in advance - Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality and progress - Identify site issues, prepare presentations and ensure timely resolution - Attend and conduct site meetings, internal reviews, vendor meetings and client meetings - Update the Project Billing Team after each stage of work completionTechnical Skills & ToolsThe candidate must have strong working knowledge of:- AutoCAD / ZWCAD – for detailed architectural drawings - SketchUp – for 3D modeling and design development - V-Ray / Lumion – for high-quality renderings and visualizations - Revit and BIM ,for all detail drawings and for as built drawing generation - Rhino – for advanced form development and complex geometry (preferred) - Preparation of area statements, schedules and detailed documentation - Understanding of Green Building Rating Systems such as GRIHA / LEED or equivalent, with sensitivity to sustainable design practicesStandards & Quality Expectations- Strong expertise in concept design, space planning, building form and façade development - Ability to deliver fast, efficient and high-quality design solutions - Excellent attention to detail and drawing accuracy - All drawings must be internally reviewed and signed off before release - Maintain professional documentation and drawing standards at every project stagePersonal & Professional Attributes- Highly committed to architecture and construction - Strong communication and coordination abilities (Must have) - High sense of ownership and accountability - Team-oriented, collaborative and supportive - Positive attitude — enjoys work and contributes to a lively office culture - Curious, eager to learn and grow with the organizationWhy Join Aark Design Studio?- Exposure to diverse project typologies - Involvement from concept to completion - Accelerated learning and professional growth - Supportive, collaborative and enjoyable work environment - Daily work has strong impact on outcomes and growth of the company - We practice a relatively flat work hierarchy with minimal overhead - Your ideas will be heard, nurtured and refined every step of the way - Culture is very important to us - Clear communication, Precision with craft, Embody empathy and always have a growth mindset by pushing boundaries meaningfully. - Lastly, we are an organization that rewards leadership, ownership and the ability to take decisions and make things happen.
