Job Description

Three years ago, we started asking: what would it take to make care work visible, valued, and sustainable in India? Now we're ready to build the answer. After years of research into how care is delivered and valued across India, Caregram is moving from insight to action - building businesses across care infrastructure, education, and technology. We're looking for a strategic partner to build this with us. Methodically, sustainably, and from deep research insights. Here's the reality:We're bootstrapped. No existing team yet, no revenue, no established playbook. You'll be designing the systems, building the financial models, making decisions about what we prioritize and how we work. This requires someone who can think strategically while being deeply operational. Someone who can build teams thoughtfully. Someone who sees the complexity in care work and knows it deserves patient, excellent execution - not just hustle. What you'll actually do:- Design operational systems and business models grounded in our research - Build financial frameworks and determine what we tackle first - Recruit initial team members as resources allow - Launch and iterate on pilots/MVPs with real users - Work in genuine partnership with us to test ideas and refine strategyWhat you bring: 7+ years building operational systems and teams, with early-stage experience. Comfort with ambiguity and building without established templates. Strong systems thinking. The ability to be resourceful with limited resources while maintaining high standards.Experience in healthcare, elder care, childcare, disability support, home care, care policy/research, or NGOs working on care issues is valuable but not required - what matters is your ability to understand deeply and translate that into viable businesses. The engagement: This is a consultant role with meaningful equity. Consulting fees reflect bootstrapped reality. Potential to transition into permanent leadership as we generate revenue. This could be right for you if:- You value equity and the opportunity to shape something from the foundation - You want genuine decision-making authority and partnership - You're energized by building sustainable systems, not just moving fast - You understand that care infrastructure requires patience and rigor - You're at a point where this kind of building opportunity matters more than immediate high compensationWe're especially interested in hearing from people who've taken non-linear career paths, who've built things after breaks or transitions, who bring lived experience with care systems alongside professional expertise.Starting conversations this month. If this resonates, reach out. If you know someone who'd be brilliant at this, please share or tag them below. What would you prioritize first if you were building India's care economy from research insights?listener@Full Terms of Reference: #SocialEnterprise #StartupJobs #Delhi #ImpactJobs #EarlyStage #WomenInBusiness #CareWork
