We are looking for a dynamic and driven Area Manager to take complete ownership of end-to-end operations for Bangalore and play a critical role in scaling Freedo into the largest two-wheeler rental platform. This is a high-impact leadership role for professionals who enjoy building and running city operations from the ground up.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and lead end-to-end Bangalore operations, covering growth, execution, and performanceStudy local market dynamics and area-wise demand to plan city operationsDrive and grow city revenues with complete ownership of P&LEnsure an excellent customer experience with a 360-degree operational view—from customer care to field executive safetyManage administrative functions and continuously improve operational processes and reporting systemsHire, train, and manage the Bangalore team; assign targets, design incentive plans, and support career developmentBuild and maintain strong relationships with key local stakeholders, including:RTO for registrations and regulatory clearancesCity & Traffic Police for operational coordination and issue resolutionMetro stations, bus stands, airports, and railway stations for partnerships and demand generationColleges, malls, hospitals, and theatres for parking and visibilityDefine and execute the Bangalore growth strategy with strong on-ground implementationLead multi-layered operations teams by setting goals and incentive programsLaunch cost-effective offline marketing campaigns to increase city-level awarenessStep in as an active team member whenever requiredAct as the single point of contact for all Bangalore-related project communicationsWhat We’re Looking ForPrior experience managing operations in a rental or shared mobility company is highly desirableStrong people leadership and stakeholder management skillsHigh ownership mindset with a hands-on approach and execution-driven attitudeStrong business acumen with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and operate in ambiguous environmentsDemonstrated success in achieving targets through planning, execution, and team leadershipExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, with the ability to prepare and share periodic reportsExperience & Qualifications5+ years of experience in field operations within the rental, shared mobility, or automotive industry (strongly preferred)B.Tech or MBA with a strong academic backgroundProven experience in ground operations, sales, and marketing, consistently delivering business resultsExperience managing teams of 10+ members, including in-house and external teamsAbout Freedo :Freedo Rentals Building a Smarter, Sustainable Mobility Ecosystem Freedo Rentals, our in-house startup incubated under Hero MotoCorp’s innovation platform ‘Hero Hatch,’ continues its mission to reimagine mobility through a flexible, affordable, and sustainable two-wheeler rental platform.
