Job Title: Head – FDA SalesCompany: Our Client (Leading Pharmaceutical & Regulated Ingredients Manufacturer)Department: Sales & MarketingReporting To: Director – FDALocation: Gurgaon (WFO)CTC: ₹25–40 LPAEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout AntalAntal International, East Patel Nagar Delhi, is a leading recruitment consultancy having expertise in connecting top talent across IT, Manufacturing and FMCG industries with leading organizationsRole OverviewOur Client is looking for a senior commercial leader to head its FDA-regulated ingredients business across Pan-India.The role requires strong expertise in regulated pharma excipients/API sales, national market expansion, and strategic key-account management, with deep understanding of compliance-driven selling.Key Responsibilities- Lead Pan-India sales and marketing for FDA-regulated ingredients business. - Define and execute national customer acquisition and growth strategy. - Drive customer segmentation across Pharma (Innovator, Generic, API, Formulation), Personal Care manufacturers, and Food & Flavour companies. - Build and manage strategic key accounts with top-tier and regulated customers. - Lead technical and commercial discussions with customers in coordination with QA, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams. - Drive long-term contracts, approved vendor status, and multi-year supply programs. - Expand business with export-oriented and regulated customers. - Mentor and manage regional sales and marketing teams.Strategic Deliverables- National customer approval and onboarding roadmap. - Pricing strategy aligned with quality, compliance, and regulatory benchmarks. - Penetration of new applications within existing customer accounts. - Sustainable revenue growth through compliance-led selling.Qualifications- Graduate in Science or Pharmacy (preferred). - MBA (Marketing) or equivalent qualification.Experience- 15–25 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Excipients Sales or API Sales across Pan-India. - Strong exposure to regulated markets and compliance-driven customers. - Proven track record of working with procurement heads, QA/RA teams, formulation scientists, and application teams. - Experience in managing large accounts, long-term contracts, and strategic partnerships.Key Skills & Competencies- Deep understanding of FDA / regulated markets and compliance-based selling. - Ability to convert quality, purity, consistency, and regulatory compliance into commercial value. - Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability. - Strong leadership and team management skills.
