SummaryAt RunLoyal, a rapidly growing vertical SaaS company headquartered in Atlanta, GA, we’re looking for a high-ownership QA Lead & Scrum Master to champion quality, reliability, and trust across our platform.This role is critical to ensuring our product scales with excellence—owning quality strategy, driving agile execution, and partnering closely with engineering and product teams to deliver a seamless experience for our customers.RunLoyal operates a multi-tenant, deeply personalized SaaS system where data correctness, tenant isolation, and delivery discipline are business-critical. This role owns end-to-end quality, test strategy, sprint execution, and delivery governance across 5 mobile applications and 2 web portals, working with engineering teams distributed across India and the US.This is not a support role. This is a product trust and execution leadership role that requires strong technical depth, delivery rigor, and the confidence to make hard release decisions.ResponsibilitiesProduct Quality & Trust Ownership- Own end-to-end quality across mobile (iOS & Android) and web platforms - Ensure multi-tenant data isolation, personalization correctness, and data integrity - Act as the final quality gate for production releases - Define and enforce quality benchmarks aligned with business risk - Own production defect accountability, root-cause analysis, and preventionTest Strategy & Automation Leadership- Define and own test strategy and test architecture (manual + automation) - Research and drive adoption of AI-powered testing tools and techniques to improve efficiency and coverage - Define testing strategy for AI/ML model validation, where applicable - Drive automation coverage for: - Multi-tenant scenarios - Role-based access control (RBAC) - Personalization logic - API and backend validation - Regression and edge cases - Own automation frameworks for web, mobile, and APIs - Identify gaps requiring manual or exploratory testing - Track and improve test coverage, defect leakage, and release confidenceScrum Master & Delivery Governance- Act as Scrum Master for multiple squads - Own and facilitate sprint ceremonies: - Sprint planning - Daily stand-ups - Sprint reviews - Retrospectives - Ensure: - Clear Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) - Realistic sprint commitments and predictable delivery - Rapid identification and removal of blockers - Maintain delivery transparency with leadership and stakeholdersImpact Analysis & Requirement Risk Control- Ensure impact areas are clearly identified for every requirement - Validate frontend, backend, mobile, and data impacts before sprint execution - Prevent ambiguous or high-risk requirements from entering sprint scope - Own release risk assessments prior to deploymentsTeam Leadership & Cross-Geo Collaboration- Build, mentor, and scale high-ownership QA teams - Lead execution across India and US teams - Set a culture of accountability, precision, and ownership - Confidently challenge product or engineering decisions when quality is at riskQualificationsRequired Experience & Skills- 8+ years of experience in QA Engineering, with 3+ years as a QA Lead / Test Architect - Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks: - Web: Selenium / Playwright / Cypress - Mobile: Appium / Espresso / XCUITest - API: Postman / Newman / REST Assured - Strong experience testing multi-tenant SaaS platforms - Deep understanding of: - REST APIs - SQL and backend data validation - Role-based access control - Data integrity and tenant isolation - Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines - Strong working knowledge of Agile / Scrum, acting as Scrum Master - Experience managing distributed teams (India & US)What Sets You Apart- High integrity and strong ownership mindset - Comfortable saying “no” to unsafe releases - Ability to operate calmly under pressure - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsCultural Expectations- We value quality, trust, and delivery discipline - We expect leaders to take ownership and make principled decisions - We prioritize correctness over speed when business risk is high - We collaborate across time zones with clarity and accountabilityOur Values- Ownership and accountability - Precision and rigor - Transparency and trust - Continuous improvement
