Profiles without these skills may experience screening delays.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities- Investigate and resolve payment‑related issues such as failed transactions, missing credits, and reconciliation discrepancies. - Analyze SWIFT MT/MX messages, payment instructions, and end‑to‑end transaction flows. - Collaborate with internal teams and external banks to resolve payment exceptions and inquiries. - Document findings, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and recommend process improvements. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including AML, sanctions screening, and related standards. - Support migration and modernization initiatives involving ISO 20022, core platform upgrades, and system integration. - Work closely with developers and business analysts to enhance payment workflows and reduce exceptions. - Maintain accurate records and deliver timely investigation and testing reports to stakeholders.Test Automation & Quality Engineering Responsibilities- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for payment applications and transaction workflows. - Utilize Selenium WebDriver for UI automation across payment portals and internal platforms. - Build and maintain reusable test automation frameworks (TestNG/JUnit-based). - Conduct functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing across payment systems. - Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). - Identify gaps in test coverage and introduce automation improvements to boost efficiency. - Manage test environments, test data, and requirement‑to‑test traceability.Required SkillsPayments & Domain Expertise- Strong understanding of SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, clearing & settlement workflows. - Exposure to Trade Finance processes including LC, BG, collections, and related operations. - Ability to interpret transaction data, identify discrepancies, and validate messages.Automation & Technical Skills- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and automation frameworks. - Strong skills in API testing (REST/JSON), SQL, and debugging tools. - Experience with SWIFT Alliance, reconciliation tools, and advanced Excel.Soft Skills- Excellent communication and coordination with banks, clients, and internal teams. - Strong analytical thinking, documentation capability, and investigative mindset. - Good awareness of compliance topics: AML, sanctions, regulatory standards.How you will growAt Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
