Nivee Properties is seeking Senior Planning Engineer for Hyderabad, Telangana, Location.Role Overview:The Planning Engineer will be the driving force behind the successful and timely delivery of our large-scale commercial and high-rise building projects. This role involves developing, maintaining, and monitoring comprehensive project schedules, performing critical path analysis, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution from the design phase through to final handover..Core Responsibilities:A. Project Scheduling & Control* Develop and Maintain Master Schedule: Create, implement, and maintain the detailed Level 3 and Level 4 project schedules (e.g., using Primavera P6 or MS Project) for all project phases, including design, procurement, structural work, MEP installation, façade, fit-out, and commissioning.* Critical Path Management (CPM): Perform regular and in-depth critical path analysis to identify, mitigate, and report on potential risks, bottlenecks, and delays that could impact the project completion date.* Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track actual progress against the baseline schedule. Prepare and present detailed weekly/monthly reports, including S-curves, Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis, and forecast-to-complete metrics for internal management and external stakeholders.* Resource and Cash Flow Planning: Develop and manage resource-loaded schedules (manpower, equipment, and material), and assist the Quantity Surveying team with cash flow projections tied to the construction program.B. Coordination & Risk Management* Interdisciplinary Coordination: Lead planning sessions and coordinate schedules with various project teams, including structural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineers, architects, façade specialists, subcontractors, and vendors, particularly for complex high-rise sequence activities.* Change Management: Assess the schedule impact of all variations, claims, and change orders. Incorporate approved changes into the updated project schedule and baseline.* Delay Analysis: Provide expert analysis and reports for any delays, including root cause identification and recommended corrective/acceleration actions.C. Documentation & Contract Compliance* Ensure the project schedule and all planning deliverables adhere to the contractual requirements and reporting obligations.* Prepare detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and activity definitions to a granular level suitable for a complex high-rise environment.* Maintain accurate records of the project baseline, revisions, progress data, and formal communication regarding schedule impacts.III. Required Qualifications and SkillsA. Education & Experience:* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.* Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, specifically working on large-scale commercial and/or high-rise building construction projects (e.g., 20+ floors).B. Technical Expertise:* Expert proficiency in industry-leading project planning software Like Primavera P6 & CAD.* Strong working knowledge of MS Project and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel for data analysis).* Sound understanding of construction methodologies, processes, and sequencing, especially for high-rise elements like core wall cycle, slab cycle, façade installation, and MEP first-fix/second-fix integration.* Knowledge of project management principles, including CPM and EVM.* Ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).C. Key Attributes:* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.* Strong verbal and written communication skills to present complex schedule information clearly to all levels of the project team and stakeholders.* Proactive, self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.IV.
