Role: Technology Project ManagerAs Technology Project Manager at BeeHyv, person in this role will engage with BeeHyv’s technology team, Customer’s Tech Team, Customer’s Program Lead. Person’s overall contribution should positively impact Code Quality, Tech processes and their components, Communication with the customer, BeeHyv’s tech team resource issues & Internal Reporting to BeeHyv’s leads.OverviewBeeHyv’s strong technology presence to its customers is key to its brand. This role, therefore, is targeted at individuals who have had a deep technical skill in 1-2 core areas, understand technology architectures (modern ones) e.g. Web-architecture, Data-Architecture, DevOps Architectures and so on. The professional would have demonstrated capabilities in 1-2 core tech and would be playing a role of Tech leads or Tech PM in his/her organization. The person will be trusted to grow his process part of capability and should be able to handle the tech team & processes very well.Over the decade+ years, BeeHyv has taken care of its biggest assets, i.e. technology teams and been able to retain and organically grow a good percentage of technical staff.Responsibilities● Engage with the customer team to understand Scope of work, Technology components & teams, Target timelines, Tech Processes & Standards● Assisting with SoW drafts, Refining contract works by learning● Work with BeeHyv’s Senior project managers/leads in planning resources● Ability of managing an agile project using established project management techniques● Understanding technical needs and resource capabilities● Good grasp of Customer’s Technology Platform; Full-stack understanding● Having an extended understanding of Customer’s Technology Targets● Code Reviews, Git Management, Code Quality, Git/Automated Reviews, Release Qualities, Cutomer’s technology-related concerns and addressing them● Technology & Project Management Documentation● Participation in BeeHyv’s internal process initiatives● Be the channel/Create a framework for harvesting marketing information from projectsWho you should be● 8-12 years of experience with the first 5-6 years spent as developer/Sr. Developer in modern technology architecture (web, data, devOps etc.)● Having hands-on experience of design & development in 2-3 technology projects preferably as full-stack developers in the past● Having Module/Team/Project lead experience of at least 2-3 Agile project from requirements to UAT● Be familiar of dev/test environments with Git Management & Review capabilities● Work with junior developers in code quality, peer/code review, issue resolution, user-story interpretations, tech frameworks, debugging guidance● Self-disciplined about Communication, Documentation, Product & Delivery Quality● Must have the experience of a customer PoC for at least 2-3 projects in the past● Be able to arrange for or review code, estimates, issues/resolutions, tools, suggest methods etc.● Maintain JIRA/similar tools for Agile deliveries (user-stories, elaboration)● Be able to manage scrums & drive stand-ups as required● Be versed with one of the clouds, deployment of applications in cloud environment, manage VPCs/server instances● Keep BeeHyv leads informed of issues, progresses, customer-concerns, risks, solutions● Setup and drive customer meetings along with Primary Stakeholders● Be able to participate in estimation, costing of a project● Be overall responsible for customer implementations (for selected projects) and maintain BeeHyv’s brandPreferred Qualifications● Degree in CS or comparable● Good in communication, emails, tools/documentation● 3-4 yrs experience in Software Development/IT Industry as a full stack developer● Tech lead/Tech Manager experience in at least 2 projects
