Faculty operate within a creative, interdisciplinary ecosystem, supported by modern classrooms, academic databases, digital tools, and strong industry engagement.Areas of ExpertiseGeneral Management (Supporting Subjects)Principles of Management | Entrepreneurship | Strategic Management | EconomicsMarketing Core & ElectivesMarketing Management | Consumer Behaviour | Sales & Distribution | Retail ManagementKey Role Expectations- Teaching & Learning: Deliver engaging lectures, case discussions, simulations, and applied learning sessions in General Management and allied subjects, integrating industry examples and contemporary business practices. - Curriculum & Programme Development: Contribute to curriculum design, programme coordination, academic planning, accreditation requirements, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. - Research & Thought Leadership: Conduct and publish research in ABDC / SCOPUS indexed journals, develop cases and applied research outputs, and contribute to conferences and academic forums. - Mentorship & Student Engagement: Mentor students on academic projects, internships, entrepreneurship initiatives, and career pathways; support holistic student development beyond the classroom. - Institutional & Industry Engagement: Build and sustain collaborations with industry, startups, and professional bodies; support guest lectures, live projects, and institutional initiatives aligned with the University’s mission.Eligibility & Experience- Minimum 10 years of total work experience, with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience in managerial, leadership, consulting, or strategic roles. - Strong academic background (Ph.D. / PGDM / Master’s in Management, Economics, or allied disciplines preferred). - Prior teaching, executive training, consulting, or institutional experience will be an advantage.Qualifying Criteria – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:a. A Master ‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.b. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.OR,A candidate has been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.c. Minimum 2 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journalsd. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable:i) Ph.D. preferred with entry-level of 2 years’ experience is desirable but not mandatory.ii) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on her/his Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.Other published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and a patent filed.Compensation follows UGC norms; for candidates with strong research potential, teaching excellence, or industry exposure, remuneration will be aligned competitively.
