Role Overview - TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER | KOCHI LocationSoftobiz Technologies is seeking aTechnical Project Manager (Tech PM)with a stronghands-on technical background in .NET Core and/or Node.jsto lead complex enterprise and cloud-native projects. This role goes beyond traditional project management and requiresdeep technical understanding , strongRAID ownership ,client-facing communication , andfinancial/milestone control . The ideal candidate will act as abridge between architecture, engineering, and stakeholders , ensuring predictable delivery, cost control, and high-quality outcomes.Interested candidates pls share your updated profile to adlin.asha@Key Responsibilities Project & Delivery Management Ownend-to-end deliveryof enterprise projects across .NET Core, Node.js, React/Angular, SQL/NoSQL, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) Driveproject planning, execution, tracking, and reportingacross multiple workstreams Define and manageproject milestones, dependencies, and delivery timelines Ensure delivery aligns withSOW, scope, budget, and quality expectations Technical Leadership Review and understandsolution architecture, API designs, data flows, and integration patterns Collaborate closely withSolution Architects and Tech Leadson design decisions Challenge and validate technical estimates, risks, and assumptions Support teams ontechnical trade-offs, feasibility, and scalability considerations RAID & Risk Management Proactively identify and manageRAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) Maintain and presentRAID logswith clear mitigation and ownership Anticipate delivery, integration, and resourcing risks early and drive resolution Escalate risks withdata-backed impact analysis Financials, Costing & Milestones Ownproject costing, effort estimation, and budget tracking Definemilestone-based billing plansand delivery checkpoints Track burn, variance, and forecast to ensurefinancial discipline Support commercial discussions, change requests, and scope adjustments Stakeholder & Client Management Act as theprimary client-facing delivery owner Prepare and presentexecutive-level PPTs(SteerCo decks, status reports, roadmaps) Leadweekly/monthly governance calls , status reviews, and planning workshops Translate technical complexity intoclear business-level communication Team & Process Management Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, DevOps, UI/UX) DriveAgile/Scrum or hybrid delivery models Ensure adherence toSDLC, quality, and delivery best practices Support performance tracking, capacity planning, and dependency management.Required Skills & Experience Core Requirements 10–15+ yearsof experience in software delivery withstrong technical exposure Hands-on background in: .NET Core / Coreand/orNode.js REST APIs, microservices, and backend systems Strong understanding of: SQL Server / PostgreSQL / MongoDB Cloud platforms ( Azure and/or AWS ) CI/CD, DevOps, and modern deployment practices Project Management Expertise Proven experience managinglarge, complex, enterprise-scale projects Deep experience inRAID management Strong expertise inproject costing, budgeting, and milestone planning Excellent skills inPowerPoint (PPT)and executive reporting Certifications (Preferred) PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe / Agile certifications– highly preferred Cloud or technical certifications are a plus Soft Skills Strong leadership and decision-making skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Ability to operate atboth strategic and technical levels High ownership, accountability, and delivery mindset Nice to Have Experience working withglobal clients Exposure toAI/ML, data platforms, or enterprise ERP/CRM systems Experience managingmulti-project portfoliosAbout Softobiz: Innovation begins with like-minded people aiming to transform the world together.
