Transport InchargeLocation: Manav Rachna International School, Faridabad , Sector -14Job Summary:The Transport Incharge will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of students and staff. The role ensures compliance with school policies, traffic regulations, and safety standards while managing drivers, routes, and vehicles effectively.Key Responsibilities:- Plan, manage, and monitor daily school transport operations. - Ensure safe pickup and drop of students as per defined routes and schedules. - Supervise drivers, conductors, and transport staff; maintain discipline and performance. - Ensure all vehicles comply with RTO rules and school safety norms (GPS, CCTV, first aid, fire extinguisher, speed governors, etc.). - Coordinate with school administration and parents regarding transport issues and changes. - Maintain records of vehicle fitness, insurance, permits, pollution certificates, and driver licenses. - Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs. - Handle emergencies, breakdowns, and route issues promptly. - Ensure student safety during boarding, travel, and de-boarding. - Prepare transport duty rosters and route plans. - Implement school transport policies and safety drills.-Skills & Competencies:- Strong organizational and supervisory skills - Good communication and coordination abilities - Knowledge of transport safety laws and RTO regulations - Crisis management and problem-solving skills - Basic computer skills (MS Excel, record keeping) - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple routes-Qualification & Experience:- Minimum Graduate (preferred) - 3–5 years of experience in school transport or fleet management - Valid driving license (optional but preferred) - Prior experience in an educational institution is an advantage.
