Join our dynamic team in Chennai to contribute to quality assurance and product excellence.Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Junior Perfumer / Laboratory Assistant to support our fragrance analysis and quality control operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the fragrance industry, a strong chemistry foundation, and proficiency in operating gas chromatography (GC) and GC-MS equipment. This role ensures the purity, composition, and consistency of our attars and perfumes through precise testing and documentation.Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain gas chromatograph (GC) and GC-MS machines for fragrance compound analysis, impurity detection, and quality verification. - Conduct routine lab tests on raw materials, blends, and finished products, including essential oils and attars. - Prepare samples, calibrate instruments, and record data accurately in lab reports and databases. - Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Collaborate with the R&D team to support new product development and formulation experiments. - Maintain lab safety standards, inventory of chemicals, and compliance with industry regulations.Requirements:- Minimum 2 years of experience as a lab assistant or technician in the fragrance, perfume, or essential oils industry. - Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (Master's preferred). - Proven ability to operate GC and GC-MS equipment (mandatory; please provide examples in your application). - Strong knowledge of analytical techniques, lab safety protocols, and fragrance chemistry. - Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in MS Office and lab management software is a plus.What We Offer:- Competitive salary based on experience. - Opportunities for growth in the fragrance sector. - Supportive work environment with training on advanced equipment.How to ApplyApply directly via this portal or send your CV and cover letter to hr@.
