The SEO & Content Manager will own and execute Maadho’s organic growth strategy across search, content, and email. This is a hands-on role for someone who can both think strategically and execute tactically — researching keywords, optimizing pages, writing content, managing backlinks, and building email campaigns.Key ResponsibilitiesSEO Strategy & Execution (On-Site & Off-Site)- Own end-to-end SEO strategy, execution, and performance tracking. - Conduct keyword research for product pages, category pages, blogs, and landing pages. - Optimize on-site SEO elements: - Page structure, internal linking, metadata, headers, URLs - Content optimization for search intent - Technical SEO basics (crawlability, indexing, site health in coordination with devs) - Lead off-site SEO initiatives: - Backlink strategy and acquisition - Outreach, guest posts, digital PR, and partnerships - Monitor backlink quality and disavow risks as needed - Track rankings, traffic, and conversions using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush, etc.Content Writing & Editorial Ownership- Write and edit high-quality content, including: - Blog articles and educational content - Product and category page copy - Case studies, guides, and landing pages - Own the editorial calendar aligned with SEO, sales, and seasonal priorities. - Ensure all content follows SEO best practices while remaining clear, credible, and conversion-focused. - Refresh and optimize existing content to improve rankings and performance.Email Marketing & Campaigns- Write and manage email campaigns, including: - Promotional and product-focused campaigns - Educational and content-driven newsletters - Lead-nurture and lifecycle email flows - Optimize subject lines, messaging, and CTAs for open and click-through rates. - Collaborate with sales and marketing to align email content with business goals. - Track and report on email performance and continuously optimize.Analytics & Continuous Improvement- Monitor performance across SEO, content, and email channels. - Report on KPIs such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversions, and engagement. - Test and iterate on content formats, topics, and distribution strategies. - Stay current on SEO algorithm updates and content marketing trends.QualificationsRequired- 5+ years of experience in SEO and content marketing. - Proven hands-on experience with: - On-site SEO optimization - Off-site SEO and backlink strategies - Long-form and short-form content writing - Email campaign writing and execution - Strong writing and editing skills with attention to clarity, tone, and structure. - Experience using SEO and analytics tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, GSC, GA4, etc.). - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.Preferred- Experience in B2B, manufacturing, supply chain, or e-commerce environments. - Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress or similar). - Experience optimizing content for conversion, not just traffic. - Understanding of basic HTML and technical SEO concepts.
