Sustainability ethos is engrained in multiple aspects of the Group’s businesses.Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Irrigation & Hydraulic Engineering Specialist to plan, design, and manage agricultural irrigation and water management systems. The role is focused on efficient water distribution, hydraulic system design, and maintenance of irrigation infrastructure to support agricultural operations.Key Responsibilities- Plan, design, and implement agricultural irrigation systems including drip, sprinkler, and surface irrigation - Perform hydraulic calculations for flow rates, pressure, head loss, and system capacity - Design and oversee installation of irrigation pipelines, pumping systems, reservoirs, tanks, and water storage structures - Manage water distribution systems to ensure optimal usage for agricultural activities - Supervise on-site execution, contractors, and vendors for irrigation-related works - Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for water efficiency and reliability - Ensure compliance with safety standards and agricultural water-use regulations - Prepare technical drawings, layouts, BOQs, and documentation - Conduct routine inspections and plan preventive maintenance of irrigation systemsQualification & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or related field - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in agricultural irrigation and hydraulic systems - Strong expertise in hydraulic engineering for agricultural irrigation - Hands-on experience with farm-based irrigation infrastructure - Knowledge of pumps, pipelines, valves, reservoirs, and water storage systems - Effective coordination and site management skills - Experience working in farm-based or rural agricultural settings preferred
