Ballard Estate, Mumbai (full time on site)Senior Interior Designer / Architect at NAP design studioCTC: ₹12 – ₹24 LPAApplicants to share their CV and portfolio to studio@NAP Design Studio is looking for a senior interior designer/architect to join its team in Ballard Estate, Mumbai.//OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and design-driven senior interior designer/architect to join our team in Mumbai.This role requires someone with strong conceptual thinking, refined design sensibility, and the technical capability to carry a project from concept to completion with minimal supervision.The ideal candidate has a minimum of 8-10 years of experience working on high-end interior and architectural projects, can lead design packages confidently and thrives in a collaborative yet fast-paced environment.This is a hands-on role for someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, coordinates effectively with consultants and consistently delivers thoughtful, well-resolved work.//Key Responsibilities1. Concept development and design direction- Lead the creation of strong, contextually grounded concepts for interior and architectural projects - Develop mood boards, design narratives, space planning options, and early-stage visualisations - Present design ideas confidently to the founder, internal team and clients2. Design packages and technical drawings- Produce and oversee comprehensive drawing sets across concept, schematic, and detailed design stages - Ensure all design details, material specifications, and technical solutions are well-resolved and aligned with project intent - Review and refine drawings prepared by junior designers and draftsmen3. Project leadership and coordination- Take charge of assigned projects, ensuring design quality, accuracy and timely delivery - Coordinate directly with consultants (MEP, structural, lighting, landscape), suppliers, and contractors - Lead or support client meetings, ensuring all design updates are clear, structured and professionally communicated4. Material research and specification- Source materials, finishes, fixtures, furniture, lighting and design elements aligned with the project’s vision - Prepare FF&E schedules and specification packages with accuracy and clarity - Manage samples, approvals and coordination with suppliers.5. Site reviews and quality control- Conduct site visits to verify design implementation and address discrepancies early - Liaise with contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure adherence to design intent - Provide marked-up drawings, clarifications, and site instructions when required6. Team collaboration and mentorship- Work closely with the founder, project manager and technical team to maintain workflow efficiency - Guide and mentor junior designers where needed, ensuring consistency and quality - Participate actively in internal design reviews, bringing constructive and thoughtful feedback7.
