For more details, please visit Role OverviewThe Climate Resilient Structure Specialist will provide technical oversight to ensure that buildings and infrastructure are planned, designed, and constructed to withstand climate-related risks and extreme events. The role focuses on integrating climate resilience principles into structural design and implementation while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and within the available budget.Roles and Responsibilities:- Ensure that the design and development of buildings and infrastructure incorporate climate-resilient specifications and risk-informed design principles. - Review and validate structural designs for compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and guidelines related to safety and resilience. - Provide technical oversight during construction to ensure adherence to approved designs, specifications, and quality standards. - Ensure that climate-resilient measures are implemented within the approved scope, timelines, and available budget.Locations: Patna, Kohima, Shimla, Agartala, Shillong, Itanagar, Imphal, Aizawl, Gangtok, Lucknow, Dehradun, DispurEducational Qualifications:- Master's in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering.Skills and Experience:- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in the field. - Experience of working on at least one externally funded project (such as ADB, AFD, WBG, etc.) - Prior work experience across Himalayan regions with exposure to multiple hazards in India, Nepal, Bhutan, etc.Interested candidates may send their CVs along with a cover letter to career-ccs@ with the subject line: Name- Position Applying For- Years of Experience.
