Required Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in core mainframe technologies for 3+ years. Primary skills: JCL, DB2, CICS; expertise in PL/SQL, FTP; knowledge of any mainframe scheduler. Knowledge of RDBMS and No-SQL platforms like Big Data, Couchbase, MongoDB. Languages: Java, Python, and JSON structure knowledge is a plus. Public and private cloud experience. Good to have experience working in an integrated platform and data flow with a mix of technologies. Knowledge on APIs, REST & SOAP. Tools: SOAPUI, Postman, Splunk. Must be good in documentation and acquainted with MS Office tools, especially Excel basic operations such as VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Remove Duplicates, etc. Good to have knowledge on BI tools & reporting. Good understanding of different phases and deliverables of testing projects – test plan, test approach, test data, test execution, including automation for test data, test bed setup, and execution. Understanding of customer journeys and defect lifecycle. Understanding the data setup needed and identifying the SORs as per the workflow. Familiarity and experience with Amex test environments and platforms is preferred. Certification like ISTQB is a plus.
