Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET) to join our Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) team. This role focuses on building robust automated testing frameworks, performing manual testing, and overseeing production support accuracy testing activities to ensure the quality of cloud-native solutions that power document classification, extraction, and ingestion workflows. The Sr. SDET will work closely with developers, architects, and product teams to design and implement scalable test automation strategies for complex distributed systems.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for IDP services and workflows. - Perform manual testing for functional and integration scenarios. - Oversee production validation and accuracy testing activities to ensure live system performance and data integrity. - Implement functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for cloud-based applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testability and quality are embedded in design and development phases. - Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution.Required Skills & Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. - 4+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing. - Strong programming skills in Playwright using TypeScript or Selenium using Java for test automation. - Hands-on experience with REST API testing using ReadyAPI or Postman. - Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server for validating test results and data integrity. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions or similar) and cloud environments (AWS). - Ability to understand business application objectives and translate them into comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value. - Ability to clearly and concisely communicate and report testing results. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Nice to Have- Exposure to OCR/NLP-based applications and/or Intelligent Document Processing solutions. - Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber or JBehave). - Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Rally or Jira. - Experience in leveraging Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tools for improved productivity.
