Role: Business Analyst – S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics Experience: 4–8 Years Location: Navi MumbaiPosition Summary:We are seeking a Business Analyst (BA) with strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA business processes and experience working with business teams to define analytical use cases. The BA will partner closely with customer stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and collaborate with the technical/development teams to ensure successful delivery of analytical dashboards and reports using S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.The ideal candidate is business-focused, structured, and able to communicate effectively between business and technology teams.Key Responsibilities 1. Business Requirements & Use Case Definition Conduct workshops with business teams to understand reporting needs, KPIs, and analytical gaps. Define, refine, and document use cases for operational analytics, dashboards, and performance measures. Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Specifications (FS). Identify opportunities to improve existing reporting processes and decision-making workflows. 2. Functional Expertise in S/4HANA Embedded Analytics Understand available standard analytical content (CDS-based reports, KPI tiles, overview pages, etc.) in S/4HANA. Map business requirements to available standard features and identify gaps requiring enhancements. Provide functional guidance to ensure the right analytical solution (standard or custom) is selected. 3. Collaboration With Technology Teams Translate business needs into functional designs for development teams. Support developers by clarifying requirements and validating functional logic. Participate in design discussions related to data sources, key figures, and performance considerations. Review technical outputs to ensure alignment with functional expectations. 4. Testing & Delivery Create UAT test scenarios and support business teams through the testing cycle. Validate that solution outputs (KPIs, figures, drill-downs, filters) meet expected results. Ensure feedback from UAT is incorporated before go‑live. 5. Documentation & Change Management Prepare process documentation, training materials, and user guides. Conduct user training sessions for analytics dashboards and reports. Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.Required Skills & Experience 4–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in SAP environments. Solid understanding of S/4HANA business processes (Finance, Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing—based on context). Strong skills in requirement gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management. Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams. Clear communication and strong analytical thinking skills.Good to Have (Not Mandatory) Familiarity with S/4HANA Embedded Analytics technical components such as: CDS Views VDM concepts (Interface, Consumption Views) Fiori analytical applications KPI modeling Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), BW/4HANA, or HANA modeling.
