There are four strong product brands:JOST, ROCKINGER, TRIDEC, QUICKEAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer who will be fully dedicated to driving structured problem-solving processes across our organization. This role is responsible for receiving specific problems as input, forming and leading cross-functional resolution teams, and ensuring timely and effective closure. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and analytical skills, with experience in Agriculture or Off-Highway Equipment highly preferred.Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:Problem-Solving Leadership- Take ownership of assigned problems and lead them to resolution using structured methodologies (8D, DMAIC, A3). - Form and coordinate cross-functional problem-solving teams, ensuring clear roles and accountability. - Facilitate root cause analysis and implement robust corrective and preventive actions.Continuous Improvement Initiatives- Identify systemic issues and propose process improvements to prevent recurrence. - Support deployment of Lean and Six Sigma principles across operations. - Document lessons learned and integrate them into organizational best practices.Stakeholder Engagement- Communicate progress and results to management and relevant stakeholders. - Ensure alignment with customer requirements and internal quality standards.Preferred candidate profileEducation: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Experience:- 5-8 years in problem-solving or continuous improvement roles. - Experience in Agriculture or Off-Highway Equipment strongly preferred.Skills:- Certified in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) or equivalent problem-solving methodology. - Proficiency in tools such as 8D, Fishbone, 5-Why, FMEA, SPC. - Strong facilitation and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams. - Excellent analytical and communication skills.Additional Information:JOST is regarded as the best in brand and quality in its business segment, worldwide. Needless to say, shouldering the responsibility of maintaining and increasing the brand value lies with the candidate Co-ordination is required with internal departments like production, logistics, accounts etc. The position often involves complex issues or problems that require careful analysis and diagnosis especially involving OE customers. The incumbent sets priorities and establishes a work plan to complete broadly defined assignments and achieve desired results. The position requires thorough knowledge of company products, and product applications on which intense training would be provided.
