We’re Hiring | Senior Counselling PsychologistChildrenplus is inviting applications for the position of Senior Counselling Psychologist to join our upcoming centre in Gurgaon. We are seeking a warm, skilled, and deeply committed mental health professional who is passionate about child and adolescent well-being and grounded in ethical, empathetic, and evidence-based practice.This role involves providing individual and family counseling, delivering emotional and behavioural support, and designing and implementing therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental, developmental, emotional, and behavioural concerns. The psychologist will work closely with caregivers, educators, schools, and a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to create holistic, child-centred care plans and ensure continuity of support across home, school, and clinical settings.Key Responsibilities:• Case formulations and treatment planning.• Provide individual therapy, family counseling, and child-focused interventions• Offer parent guidance, counselling and psychoeducation.• Collaborate closely with special educators, therapists, psychiatrists and school teams.• Maintain high standards of documentation, progress tracking and ethical clinical practice.• Contribute to awareness programmes, professional training and early-intervention initiatives at Childrenplus.• Support school partnerships, teacher consultations, and integration of therapeutic goals into academic environments.Eligibility Criteria:• Postgraduate qualification in Counseling Psychology.• Minimum 10 years of clinical experience, preferably with children and adolescents.• Candidates with prior experience working in schools, school mental health programmes or educational settings will be strongly preferred.• Demonstrated competence in therapy, assessment and case conceptualisation.• Strong communication skills, emotional sensitivity and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.Position Type: Full-TimeLocation: Gurgaon (Upcoming Centre - Golf Course Road)Compensation: Best in the industry and commensurate with experience and expertise.Interested candidates may apply by emailing their CV to hr@or by messaging us directly on LinkedIn.Join Childrenplus and become part of a growing organisation dedicated to ethical, child-centered and holistic mental health care.Apply at: hr@Learn more:
