About Position:We are seeking for Windows IT Engineer with hands on experience in Windows server, AKS, Networking, etc.,- Role: Windows Infrastructure Engineer - Location: All Persistent Location - Experience: 7+ Years - Job Type: Full Time EmploymentWhat You'll Do:- Design, build, and manage enterprise‑grade Windows infrastructure supporting primary business applications and databases. - Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022) ensuring high availability, performance, and security. - Manage and optimize Active Directory services, including AD domains, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, and DHCP. - Support .NET applications and SQL Server databases, ensuring stable deployments and smooth production operations. - Implement and maintain networking configurations involving TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, DNS resolution, and secure connectivity. - Perform storage administration for SAN/NAS, RAID setups, and Windows Storage Spaces to ensure data reliability and scalability. - Automate system administration and operational tasks using PowerShell scripting to reduce manual effort and improve consistency. - Handle patch management and system updates using SCCM or equivalent tools to maintain compliance and security. - Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and automation frameworks. - Manage and schedule batch jobs using Tivoli Scheduler, ensuring timely execution of critical business workloads. - Support and integrate workloads on AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) in hybrid or cloud environments. - Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and provide root cause analysis for infrastructure and application incidents. - Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge base articles. - Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership on system status and improvements.Expertise You'll Bring:- Strong Windows Systems Engineering Experience (6–8 years) in designing, deploying, and supporting mission‑critical applications. - Deep expertise in Windows Server Administration, including performance tuning, hardening, and troubleshooting. - Extensive hands‑on experience with Active Directory architecture, Group Policy design, DNS/DHCP services, and identity management. - Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts such as IP routing, VPNs, firewalls, and secure network access. - Proven experience with SQL Server installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning. - Strong knowledge of application hosting on Windows servers, especially for .NET‑based applications. - Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation, reporting, monitoring, and system configuration. - Expertise in patch management frameworks (SCCM or similar) ensuring secure and compliant systems. - Working knowledge of DevOps practices, including source control with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation. - Hands‑on exposure to Tivoli Scheduler for workload automation and job orchestration. - Experience with AKS and containerized workloads, supporting modern application delivery models. - Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills. - Ability to bridge infrastructure, application, database, and DevOps teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.Benefits:- Competitive salary and benefits package - Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications - Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies - Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards - Annual health check-ups - Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parentsValues-Driven, People-Centric & Inclusive Work Environment:Persistent is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
