About Us We are a dynamic team of young engineers, domain experts, and seasoned sales professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive turnkey solutions for complex challenges in Signal Processing. Our expertise spans the cutting-edge technologies in Signal Processing, addressing critical needs in the Defence and Aerospace sectors. Our offerings encompass a wide range of solutions, from tactical radios and radar systems to extensive research and mission-critical applications. About the role The UAV Integration & Test Engineer will be responsible for assembling, integrating, and flight-testing drone platforms used for RF, EW, and sensing payload validation. This is a highly hands-on role combining drone piloting, systems integration, and field testing in support of advanced defence and aerospace programs. Responsibilities Assemble and configure multirotor and fixed-wing UAV platforms for payload integration and testing. Integrate RF, EW, communication, and sensing payloads onto drone platforms, ensuring mechanical, electrical, and EMI compatibility. Configure and manage flight controllers using PX4 and/or ArduPilot, including avionics and telemetry setup. Perform PID tuning, vibration mitigation, and stability optimization for safe and reliable flight operations. Modify frames, mounts, wiring harnesses, and power systems to support custom payload requirements. Conduct ground, tethered, and free-flight tests following defined test plans and safety procedures. Execute range, endurance, interference, and link-quality testing to validate payload performance. Operate drones in manual, assisted, and autonomous flight modes with a strong safety-first mindset. Diagnose and resolve issues related to motors, ESCs, sensors, GNSS, RF links, and power systems. Maintain flight logs, test data, anomaly reports, and fleet readiness documentation. Support customer demonstrations, field trials, and evaluations as required. Work closely with RF, EW, embedded, and systems engineers to provide flight-side feedback for design improvements. Document test procedures, configurations, results, and lessons learned. QualificationsHands-on experience assembling, configuring, and flying UAVs (multirotor and/or fixed-wing). Strong working knowledge of PX4 and/or ArduPilot flight stacks. Proven experience in PID tuning, calibration, and flight performance optimization. Solid understanding of UAV power systems including batteries, ESCs, motors, and propellers. Ability to independently troubleshoot hardware and software issues in field conditions. Experience with RF, communications, EW, or sensor payload testing is an advantage. Familiarity with telemetry links, RC systems, antenna placement, and log analysis tools (Mission Planner, QGroundControl). DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate is preferred or willingness to obtain one. Exposure to defence, aerospace, or industrial UAV testing environments is a plus. Candidates with strong hands-on drone experience from labs, startups, or hobby projects are encouraged to apply.
