About Rang De:Rang De () is a fintech startup that aims to revolutionize credit access for underserved communities by connecting individual lenders and borrowers together, cutting out the need for an intermediary, and offering highly customized and affordable loans than traditional lenders.Having pioneered the model in India in 2008, Rang De's purpose built technology platform has proved to be game changing for providing timely access to credit for thousands of farmers and entrepreneurs. We recently pivoted into an NBFC-P2P and have a highly differentiated model from other peer-to-peer lending platforms.We are a small team with big dreams and are seeking highly talented and experienced individuals to join us in this crucial role for expanding our impact and driving meaningful change in underserved communities.Role:  AVP, Community & EngagementWork mode: RemoteFunction: Community & ContentAbout the roleThe individual will be responsible for building, scaling, and sustaining Rang De’s social investor community through city-based chapters across India, with scope to build international chapters as well. These chapters are designed as high-trust spaces where social investors meet, discover shared values, and deepen their commitment to social change through meaningful interactions and experiences.This role sits at the intersection of community, content, and culture—with clear ownership over outcomes, not just activities.Key Responsibilities:1. Build and scale city-based Rang De ChaptersDesign and launch city chapters for social investors, starting with key metros and expanding thoughtfully.Define the chapter model: structure, cadence of engagement, leadership roles, and success metrics.Ensure each chapter reflects Rang De’s values while retaining local relevance.2. Drive meaningful engagement, not attendanceCurate experiences that bring social investors together around shared purpose—not transactional networking.Create formats that foster dialogue, belonging, and long-term commitment (salons, small-group conversations, flagship events).Ensure chapters feel worth showing up for.3. Develop and enable chapter leadershipIdentify, onboard, and mentor chapter leads and core volunteers.Build clear playbooks, guardrails, and support systems so chapters can run with autonomy and quality.Hold chapter leaders to high standards of execution and experience.4. Integrate community with Rang De’s broader growth strategyWork closely with product, content, and partnerships teams to align community efforts with organisational goals.Use chapters as a lever for trust, advocacy, and long-term investor engagement.Ensure community insights meaningfully inform brand and strategy.5.
