Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Capital Project Cost Estimation Manager to join our International Engineering Centre (IEC) team in Bangalore office. This role involves developing Capital cost estimate for renewable energy projects such as Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Windfarm Projects, Green Hydrogen Solutions from feasibility and conceptual stage to Controlled Cost Estimate.Job Responsibilities: Develop cost estimates from FEL-1 to FEL-3 stages using industry-standard tools such as AspenTech Capital Cost Estimate, specifically for international projects. Develop order of magnitude, parametric and bottom-up estimate. Incorporate engineering data, historical Cost and vendor quotes. Contingency assessment-based on Project risks and other factors. Ability to interpret the engineering deliverables and develop the required input for cost estimate Develop Cost Estimation work process, document lessons learned and establish cost estimation best practices. Build and lead a cost estimation team, design training materials for cost estimation programs, and provide coaching and mentorship to team members. Establish and manage a comprehensive cost database, develop internal benchmark for validating cost estimates, and utilize external cost benchmarks across various regions. Review quotations from EPC and construction contractors and support the procurement team with cost data to facilitate effective negotiations. Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, design disciplines, procurement, construction, and safety teams to ensure their inputs are accurately incorporated into the cost estimates. Expertise to develop cost Estimation report and present it to Project Managers and Senior LeadershipJob Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related fields. Electrical Engineering background is an added advantage Proficiency in Global Estimating Software Strong Excel and data analysis skill Familiarity with Project Scheduling and material Take off tool is an added advantage Certification Preferred: AACE Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) and or Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (ACCE). Proven experience (15 – 20 years) as Cost Estimator in Renewable Energy projects, Oil& Gas Industry, Petrochemical Industries, or related fields. Strong Analytical and mathematical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skill Detail oriented with focus on accuracy and transparency Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to handle challenging situations. Proficiency in English is a must. Knowledge of other language is an advantage. Ability to effectively communicate with international teams, and all management level levels. Experience in working with multinational company is preferred.
