Job Title: Intern - Key Account ManagerBusiness Unit: Working ProfessionalLocation: Marol Naka, MumbaiEmployment Type: InternshipDuration: 3-months (will be converted to FTE based on the performance)Stipend: 30K per monthAbout the role: We are looking for a dynamic Intern to join our Business Development team, who will be at the forefront of our expansion efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and nurturing new leads and business opportunities while forging strategic partnerships, and building lasting relationships with new clients and partners. Your contributions will enhance upGrad’s market presence and drive revenue growth.Responsibilities:Conduct extensive cold & warm outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to inbound leads and establish contact with prospective clientsWeekly revenue and enrolments tracking and reportingProactively research and identify potential partners and clients within sectors that would fall under the target groupEvaluate market trends and competitor activities to uncover new business opportunitiesDevelop and implement strategic plans to expand the client base and secure new partnerships across the regionEstablish and nurture long-term relationships with strategic partners and key clientsServe as the primary point of contact, ensuring consistent communication and high-quality serviceLead negotiations with prospective partners and clients by crafting compelling proposals and presentationsOversee the onboarding process for new leads, clients and partners, ensuring smooth integration across teamsMonitor industry trends and market dynamics, providing actionable insights to senior managementQualifications and experience required:Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Strong interest in sales, partnerships, or business developmentExcellent verbal and written English communication skillsOrganized, detail-oriented, and eager to learnAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentProficient in MS Office and familiarity with tools like HubSpot (preferred)Comfortable with client-facing interactions.
