Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Control Engineer to join our construction team. This role is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet required quality standards and contractual specifications and visits to construction areas, material testing labs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or structural engineering and extensive knowledge of quality control systems, construction materials, and IS codes.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all on-site quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and documentation, throughout all phases of construction.Review specifications and submittals for quality compliance.Monitor construction processes to ensure adherence to quality standards Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors to ensure all quality objectives are met.Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformance reports (NCRs) and lead corrective/preventive action efforts.Maintain and audit quality documentation such as material approvals, test reports, calibration certificates, and inspection records.Train and mentor Junior site quality personnel and ensure consistent application of QC practices across projects.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the enhancement of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS).Contribute to innovative and sustainable construction practices.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction engineering.5+ years of experience in quality control within the construction industry, preferably on Villa and residential apartment projects.Deep knowledge of construction materials and its testing, methods, and codes (IS codes).Strong understanding of quality systems, document control, and project lifecycle management.Experience with QA/QC reporting.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
